ABOUT ME
OVER 24 YEAR’S TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello!  My name is Claire. I’m a passionate and energetic teacher and proud mum to two wonderful children. With a hands-on approach to learning, I aim to make every session fun, engaging and interactive—creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire a genuine love for learning in all the children I teach.

I’ve been a primary school teacher for 24 years, working across all year groups. Currently, I’m also an assistant headteacher, SENCO, and specialist dyslexia teacher. My love for teaching is as strong today as it was on my very first day in the classroom!

I use high-quality teaching resources, tools, and educational websites – trusted and well-loved in schools – to support children’s learning journeys. My goal is always to make lessons enjoyable, effective and something children look forward to.

All sessions take place in my purpose-built learning cabin, designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Whether in group settings or one-on-one sessions, each lesson is thoughtfully planned to suit the age, ability, and unique needs of every child.

Located on-site, my tutoring space offers a structured and engaging atmosphere where children can focus, thrive, and achieve their best.

On site parking – You can drop your child off for sessions and/or stay parked.  Access guest WiFi for working in your car or just enjoy an hour parked up while you wait, getting that much needed quiet time!

Parents also receive detailed reports after each session, offering insights into what their child has been working on and suggestions for next steps at home. And yes – refreshments are provided too!

Bloom and Learn is not just educational—it’s exciting, inspiring, and full of joy!
